BRAVE TENNOR'S TALE

Brave Tennor swung his sword
While the Tikari cast their spell.
A thousand black hearts he
destroyed before Good Tennor fell.

Before the Knights of Shade,
and before the Shadow War,
before the loss of knowledge,
comes the tale of King Tennor.

Ten thousand Golden Soldiers
were his in war to lead,
but kindness in him flourished
and to peace he did agree.

His pen fell to treaty, and
Killing Tikari was no longer the way.
But ever evil at the core,
soon King Tennor, the Tikari would betray.

They marched the outer tunnels
killing Warriors as they came,
from beneath the Golden Palace
the Golden they killed and maimed.

Wendrien, scout fleet of foot
risked everything his to give.
“Tennor, the Tikari break the peace.
Make haste or not a man shall live.”

Tennor and his loyal guards
sped quickly to the Hall of Fire...
willing to die, they were,
to prevent the Kingdom’s end so dire.

A pool of fire raged and bubbled
spanned by a thin bridge of stone.
An entire army could be held
by one brave man battling alone.

Tennor took his place against
the will of all his men.
Sword in hand, helm in place,
feet spread wide on that thin span.

Wave upon wave of dark hearts
rushed to certain doom.
Tennor filled the Tikari Hell with
souls until there was hardly room.

But even Kings are flesh and blood,
and even royal arms do tire.
Battered, but smiling a Glory Smile,
King Tennor died in that liquid fire.

Brave Tennor swung his sword
while the Tikari cast their spell.
A thousand black hearts he
destroyed before good Tennor fell.

To this day in the Hall of Fire
King Tennor’s Bridge still stands.
Thanks to royal blood that day
men still rule the Golden Lands.
