Berlin (EP) - A glitch in the central German traffic satellite sent 11 grav-cars plunging to the ground in the heart of Berlin. 21 people were killed when their grav-cars crashed, another 5 were killed on the ground. The crash also caused several fires, the most severe of which took over 4 hours to bring under control and resulted in over 8 million credits in damage. MAC SUED AGAINLondon (EP) – The Orion Office of Science and Technology (OOST) has filed a complaint against the Mennonite Agricultural Cooperative (MAC) for patent infringement. The OOST claim states that the MAC has used several novel genetic modification techniques in the development of |
their hard red winter wheat strain, marketed as, Red Cloud™. A MAC spokesman says that the Cooperative agrees with the substance of the claim, but that it was the MAC who developed these disputed techniques in cooperation with the OOST.
