Back pay


    It was rare that the four of them dined together and even rarer still that Sympos was the one that had arranged it.  Even more unexpected was the reason “I am glad that you had offered to keep my gold.  I had no need of it before, and I would likely have discarded it.  Now I must have it.  I am building a temple.”  Shade and Gabe’s jaws hit the floor and the silence that followed may have hung for a lot longer had Timm not started laughing.  It started as a chuckle but didn’t take long before he was rolling off the table, barely able to gasp out words.  “I told you fuckers, you are so screwed.”  Sympos seemingly oblivious to the laughter simply lifted his hand ready to receive.
