Cam's Thoughts

----What are your character's personal reactions and thoughts to everything that happened in the story "To Dine with a Pirate Lord." *****"I think we should honor his offer and give hime schematics of what we find. If we find an actual spike drive, we should keep it to ourselves."

----What are your character's personal hopes, dreams, and fears about being the ones to possibly find the only spike drive in the Zeta Prime System.  What do you want to do with it?  Who will you share it with?  Who will you tell?  Are you still on the mission to give it to the powers that be at Starlight Haven, or has the mission changed at all? *****Send schematics of it back to Starlight Haven. They can make one with the files we send. Then learn how to use the spike drive to escape the solar system."

----Of the specific spike drive rumors remaining (including ones you've picked up along the way), which one's feel like they should be given priority?  What meaning and importance do you give to each one. ***** "Explore the rumors around the moons of Abyssal."

----What report is sent to the Star Whisperer about the anomaly that you investigated for him?  What information do you share?  What information do you not share? ***** "Send back a message that he was right. However, creatures took the ship from our grasp. We are analyzing data retrieved."

----Most of your characters grew up and matured in the confines of Starlight Haven.  Now that you've been out and about, and seen the star system, and visited other places, how has that changed your character's goals and perspectives. ***** If we aren't careful, Cam may become a pirate. He has seen what freedom really is and it is not rotting on a space station. He has tasted real food. He has seen the real laws of the universe at play. He has his sights set on that type of freedom.

Q1. What are your character's reactions and thoughts to everything that happened in the story "To Dine with a Pirate Lord."

They call him mad for a reason.  I trust him about as much as I trust the uppity fucks that run Veridian.  If it serves our purposes to share some info I will, but I’m ready for the double cross.

Q2. What are your character's personal hopes, dreams, and fears about being the ones to possibly find the only spike drive in the Zeta Prime System?  What do you want to do with it?  Who will you share it with?  Who will you tell?  Are you still on the mission to give it to the powers that be at Starlight Haven, or has the mission changed at all?

I am devoted to the Haven and to the good of everyone in the sector.  I of course would report anything we find to my superiors

Q3. Of the specific spike drive rumors remaining (including ones you've picked up along the way), which ones feel like they should be given priority?  What meaning and importance do you give to each one?

        I like the abyssal moons

Q4. What report is sent to the Star Whisperer about the anomaly that you investigated for him?  What information do you share?  What information do you not share?

we found the anomaly never saw a spike drive

Q5. Most of your characters grew up and matured in the confines of Starlight Haven.  Now that you've been out and about, and seen the star system, and visited other places, how has that changed your character's goals and perspectives?

There is space and abundance all over the system, but the other powers are too selfish to serve an effective commander for the greater good and share the resources.

            Striker's thoughts...

Q1. What are your character's reactions and thoughts to everything that happened in the story "To Dine with a Pirate Lord."

A1. Striker overall is pretty amazed at the work on the ship and the speed it was completed, The fact his gun is now matching is the cherry on top.  Striker is a little apprehensive about sharing any info on a spike drive should they find it but that has more to do with his desire for wealth. Being the only one with a spike drive will make any delivered services very lucrative. He is holding out on a final decision if we should share info with Mad Morgan, but he is leaning toward sharing plans and keeping an actual drive. He is also pretty sure they ate human flesh when they dined with Morgan.

A2. Striker is still finding himself as a person. His time spent on the station made him focus on one thing, being a pilot. With his newfound freedom, he feels like he is in his period of rumspringa. If they find a spike drive, he wants to become a space lord (for lack of a better example like Emperor Palpatine.)  If they found it tomorrow, he would share plans with Mad Morgan and partially share plans with Starlight Haven. He would then use it to bring himself money and fame.

Q3. Of the specific spike drive rumors remaining (including ones you've picked up along the way), which ones feel like they should be given priority?  What meaning and importance do you give to each one?

A3. Of the rumors, Striker can see a window of opportunity to make a run for the Ruined lab above Veridian. He thinks with the battle they might be able to sneak in without being noticed although getting out of the hidden lab might be hard. His next choice is to head to Abyssal and explore the options there.

Q4. What report is sent to the Star Whisperer about the anomaly that you investigated for him?  What information do you share?  What information do you not share?

A4. Striker would send back an embellished story.  We found the outpost. It was being guarded by pirates. We had to run a pirate blockade into a spacetime rift. In the rift, we found a large spacecraft that was being inhabited by an interdimensional being.  We fought it off only to have the void close on us. We grabbed what knowledge we could and then ran. We barely escaped the void only to be captured by the pirate Mad Morgan.  Mad Morgan held us for a time and only through our cunningness were we able to escape after being forced to eat human flesh. The only problem was Morgan had already started to convert our ship to one of “the fleet”.  We are now on the run.

Q5. Most of your characters grew up and matured in the confines of Starlight Haven.  Now that you've been out and about, and seen the star system, and visited other places, how has that changed your character's goals and perspectives?

A5. Striker started as a strait-laced, by-the-books, individual. He is starting to see that attitude is only one option, and while it has its place, it will not further his dreams of fame and wealth.  He will have to explore more chaotic means to achieve those dreams, perhaps embracing his darkness.

Adamn's thoughts and reactions to the same questions...

----What are your character's personal reactions and thoughts to everything that happened in the story "To Dine with a Pirate Lord." *****Adamn agrees with this arrangement to exchange info with Mad Morgan and thinks we might do well by expanding it to make similar arrangements with the Shadow Fleet and other colonies. Just not Veridian...after learning about their treatment of psychics, Adamn has an F'them attitude towards that place."

*****Learn how to use the spike drive to explore other star systems. Then send schematics of it back to Starlight Haven and Mad Morgan...and anyone else we have an arrangement with. They can make one with the files we send and we can leave with a head start.

----Of the specific spike drive rumors remaining (including ones you've picked up along the way), which ones feel like they should be given priority?  What meaning and importance do you give to each one. ***** "The moon on Abyssal tops Adamn's list. We have two sources pointing that way. All the other leads only have one source. Avoid space around Veridian for now."

----What report is sent to the Star Whisperer about the anomaly that you investigated for him?  What information do you share?  What information do you not share? ***** No opinion from Adamn on this. He didn't meet the Star Whisperer.

----Most of your characters grew up and matured in the confines of Starlight Haven.  Now that you've been out and about, and seen the star system, and visited other places, how has that changed your character's goals and perspectives. ***** Not changed at all. Adamn isn't from Starlight Haven and had been to at least three other places/planets prior to arriving.

I hope everyone avails themselves the chance to share their character's thoughts.  It would be very interesting comparing and contrasting the different points of view, and finding where consensus exists for exactly what it is you hope to gain beyond the beginning question of, "Where can we find a lost spike drive?"
