Hours later, as he heard the last of the patrons leave the tavern, Timm tossed a letter addressed to Zuc Swain on the desk

"Yes, yes...anything you want...just leave her be."

For an hour or three each evening, night or early morning, Timm had been working on a map. A map that linked the three kindoms of Zuc Swain to the current world of Kempin.

How many must die?

There was murmuring between those present. Closed after 500 years? Had the Rangers of Oth failed to protect the Gate? Who was left in the ruined world to attempt such a thing?

Jack let out a sigh. "That weird traveler guy has her bewitched somehow. He's confused her with his dark charms. I'll take care of that today."

Shade has been in Rukin’s grasp more that once. Perhaps they will finally get to meet?

Shade asked, "You're sure?" Rene answered.  "If both you and Jack agree to this, then I will witness your duel.  If for no other reason than to keep both of you intact and alive.  And what young woman does not want to have two...
